Bali Weather Guide: October to December 2026
Planning a trip to Bali between October and December 2026? Discover what to expect from the weather, including temperatures, rainfall, sunshine, and the transition from the dry season to the rainy season.
From October to December, Bali gradually transitions from the dry season into the rainy season. The island remains warm throughout this period, with temperatures generally around 25–32°C, although mountain areas such as Kintamani and Bedugul can be noticeably cooler.
October is usually still relatively dry, with plenty of sunny and warm days. Short rain showers are possible, particularly in the afternoon or evening. It is generally a good month for sightseeing, beach activities, hiking, and day tours.
November marks the beginning of the wetter transition. Rain becomes more frequent, but it does not usually mean rain all day. You can still have sunny mornings followed by a short tropical shower later in the day.
December brings more typical rainy-season conditions. Expect higher humidity, more cloud cover, and more frequent showers. Some days can experience heavier rain, particularly in the afternoon or evening, while other periods can remain sunny.
What to Expect
October: Warm, mostly dry, occasional showers
November: Warm, mixed weather, increasing rainfall
December: Wetter and more humid, frequent tropical showers
Temperature: Generally around 25–32°C
Best approach: Plan outdoor activities earlier in the day and keep some flexibility for rain
Overall, Bali remains a great destination from October through December. The main difference is that rainfall gradually increases as the year comes to an end, rather than the island experiencing continuous rain throughout the day.
