Great day out seeing Balinese temples

We were picked up by our driver Yogi promptly on time from our hotel lobby, he was super friendly and very informative. Yogi told us all about the local areas we travelled through and answered our questions about the temples. He also took us to a Luwak coffee plantation where we learnt about the Luwak animal and all the different coffee available and we got to try them all. The weather was not good and there was very heavy rain, Yogi was prepared though and had umbrellas for us to use. Lunch was included at the rice fields and it was a nice tasty buffet. Overall we had a great time despite the weather, and Yogi is not just a great representative of the tour company, but a great representative of Bali.

Witness Bali's Magical Sacred Spaces!

I wanted to see UNESCO heritage sites and famous landmarks of which I had only seen pictures, and this private tour with HBD Tours and my friendly and informative guide, Wayan S., was nothing short of PHENOMENAL! If you are thinking of booking? Read no further: DO IT. His knowledge of the area, his love for his country and cultural heritage was evident in every conversation we had. It was a huge bonus that he was adept with a camera and video, which I wasn't expecting: I left my tripod in the car. One thing I particularly loved is though we had a schedule, we were never rushed. In a typical conversation we discussed the education structure of Indonesia, and oh, did I see that dragon fruit plant and young rice field, not quite ready for harvest? This tour changed my view entirely of Bali, pulled me out of the central cities and into the countryside into serence, verdant spaces steeped with history. Bonus: we visited Tamor Lot on a holy day...what are the odds? I witnessed an all-female group perform live music, watched as faithful Hindus prayed and processed to the island temple during low tide. It was an enchanting and truly magical tour and day!

Fantastic day would highly recommend

Dekwi was my driver and I an a fantastic day exploring the unesco sites with him. Dekwi was extremely knowledgeable about the temples, Bali culture and the farming of the rice fields. He also knows a lot about all the plants around Bali. I would highly recommend Dekwi and would book him for other trips. If you want a hassle free way of seeing the sites and Bali this is the way to do it!
