Our lovely guide Komang picked us up from our hotel at 8am in a clean air conditioned car, he had text the day before to introduce himself and confirm the pick up time. His English was perfect and he spent the day helping us take memorable photos and giving us lots of interesting information about Bali and all the sites we visited. He supplied bottled water and umbrellas, we had a little light rain in the countryside. The roads were busy and he was a very safe driver. The temples were amazing, our personal favourite was Tanah Lot because of the crashing waves. We also visited the beautiful rice fields and had a delicious buffet lunch. There were toilets at all the stops. It is a long day and we covered a lot of ground but we really felt like we'd experienced Bali. This is the second time to hire Merta for another day tour during my stay in Bali. Merta is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). The scenery of water temples and rice terrace is beautiful. The buffet lunch provided is delicious!
