The tour was very smooth and the choice of destinations were good! We visited different temples (one on the water, one in the forest, and one in the sea!) and our guide Lewer was very informative and could share more about the meaning & history of the temples.The UNESCO rice terraces are also a highlight - a beautiful sight though it wasn’t in season when I visited, and a wonderful view during lunch. Our guide had a lot of knowledge to share about rice farming, which made it interesting.Though there are not that many spots to visit in this tour, it should be enough if you are not looking to pack everything into one day. Travel time between destinations are also rather long.I was traveling with my dad who walks slowly, and very thankful to Lewer for adjusting the pace of the tour for him!

Agus was punctual and greeted us with a friendly smile. This made us feel very welcome. Agus is a very knowledgeable guide. We visited the temples, stopped for lunch and then made our way back. Agus was a patient guide and took the time to explain stuff. He also customized our tour so that we were not stuck in traffic thereby maximizing our touring time. We had a four year old with us so he knew that we needed a bit more extra time to get through each place. He never complained and he obliged us at every turn. I highly recommend touring with Agus. We had the most fabulous time on our tour. Wayan Merta is super knowledgeable and just such an amazing personality. He was patient with us and answered my millions of questions with such confidence. ? He is so respectful, and interacted with such ease with my children, that the tour ended in hugs not handshakes. I was amazed at his navigation of the roads - at one point we had to make a u turn as the road was closed and he easily did that on a downhill and went straight on to an alternate route, and with a chuckle proclaimed it’s his job to know all the roads in Bali ? We loved the Ulun Danu Bratun temples - the serenity was just mesmerizing and we could almost feel the holiness of the place. The gardens were immaculately manicured and a sight to behold. The Jatiluwih rice terraces are indeed an interesting visit. Such a clever irrigation system. Tanah Lot was absolutely stunning. We opted not to stay until sunset as it was a cloudy day. I must say Wayan Merta made our day that much more fun. Hire Bali has a true asset in him.
