Different from all the other tours. Berata our guide was super nice!

We did a bunch of day trips in Bali. We got a bit tired of going to Ubud area. This tour explores a different side of Bali. Our driver Berata was punctual and even messaged us in advance. He was passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. You could tell he takes a lot of pride in his work and in his Balinese culture and traditions. He is a very good driver - safe and skilled in the chaotic Bali traffic. The car was really nice and clean, great air cond which is a must in Bali. The entire day went smooth - on or ahead of time - super easy and not rushed. He shared his knowledge with us and offered us water at the appropriate times. The first temple on the lake is bigger than the other ones and pretty. Try not to use the rest rooms here - you pay 2000 rupiah so you would think they are in good shape but they are disgusting. Rice terraces are so beautiful - so much better than the ones in Ubud. Took a walk here. We opted for the lunch so we ate at Billys terrace cafe. I would strongly recommend that you skip lunch - it was a very basic buffet and place was full of flies - maybe because of the rains but it was terrible. Eat somewhere else or pack your own lunch. The 3rd temple stop was the quietest and least commercial. It was nice and serene. Tanah Lot - ocean temple - again very beautiful - just wish there were fewer people. We got back to our hotel in Nusa Dua around 5 pm because we didn't spend too much time posing for selfies at these locations.Overall I recommend this tour because its slightly different and we got to know about the culture in Bali and Berata and his life and family.

Fantastic day

We were picked up on time by our driver Kantun, who was very knowledgable and spoke good English. We went to the three temples and the rice terrace, all along the way Kantun took time out to explain all about the shops and buildings we drove past. When in the temples we were given all the information we needed about the temples. At the rice terraces Kantun explained all about the terraces and how the irrigation worked.we also had a quick stop in at the Alas harum agro tourisim coffee Luwak plantation where we were given a tour of the plantation and sampled all their teas and coffees. You also had the chance to try the Luwak coffee,( the cat poo coffee) its good stuff! The drive to and fro the temples is pretty awesome. 100’s of mopeds are on the road at one time. All in all what a fantastic day with a fantastic very safe driver. Thanks Kantun for a great day!
