We had a terrific day of sightseeing with Dika again today! It is day 2 of our 3 day tour. We went to 3 different temples! We went to the temple by the sea which was very interesting as it is out in the water and assessable only by walking across the rocks in low tide. Then we drove to the temple of the mountain! It is very serene and quiet. Much different than the first one. After looking at the temple we had lunch in the mountains overlooking the rice terraces. Absolutely stunning! The rice was at the perfect stage of growth to make the fields so green and vibrant. I can see why the area is a UNESCO site! Food was excellent! Wine was great, too! Then we drove to the temple on the lake. Totally different than the other 2 as it is surrounded by botanical gardens! Even if you are not really into seeing temples, it was totally worth the drives to see the surroundings, landscapes and the north part of Bali. It is so lush’s with different plants and trees. We drove through farms that grow a huge variety of vegetables and strawberries. It was another wonderful day and Dika was once again full of information about everything! He plays great music, too!
