Overview

Join this early morning trip to the east side of Bali. Lempuyang Temple is one of six most important temples in Bali, has been believed to be a very sacred temple by Balinese people. It is located on the slope of Mount Lempuyang 600 metres (2,000 ft) high above sea level. According to Balinese beliefs, they are the pivotal points of the island and are meant to provide spiritual balance to Bali. Walk through the temple along the stairs then you can feel the real spiritual vibrancy of the temple. From here you can see Mount Agung the highest volcano in Bali very close. Make an amazing picture on the gate of heaven with the background of Mt. Agung.

Next, you will stop at a beautiful water palace called Tirta Gangga where you will see a maze of pools and fountains surrounded by a beautiful statues and gardens. The centerpiece of the palace is an eleven tiered fountain which is very beautiful with so many Koi fish around the ponds.
On the way to the waterfall, you will have a break to enjoy a local lunch with an amazing rice field view. Generate more energy with the local food with the panorama pampering your eyes.

Visit the hidden Tukad Cepung waterfall. Walk closely to the waterfall pouring under the small cave with the sun rays shining straight through the top of the fall, creating natural beams across the canyon. The last stop is the magical Tegalalang rice terrace. Experience the popular jungle swing for your Instagram feeds and unforgettable moment.

Temples, waterfalls and local lunch experience

The tour was very professional, on time and clearly explained. The guide (Dewa) was very helpful, nice and informative. We were quite lucky and didn’t see much queues for waterfalls that day. We saw tukad cepung, goa raja and tibumana. I was told that if I wanted a photo on lempuyan gate (gate of heaven) we should head out early (4-5 am from Ubud) but I personally don’t find added value behind such matter (queueing 1h for a photo is not for me). I would highly recommend this trip as it’s a good mix between natural beauty of the ubud area (waterfalls) and spiritual and cultural experience (temples). We finished with a lunch in Warung Babi guling with view on rice terraces

Bali Sightseeing

Krisda was a great driver for the day, very accomodating and took some great photos and videos for us both. The day started at 4am with a hotel pick up and we arrived early at the Lempuyang Temple to avoid the large queues. We also visited a coffee plantation, art gallery, woodworking shop and giant swing over rice paddies. We had a beautiful lunch with amazing views over rice fields and volcano. We finished the day with a cooling swim at a waterfall. It was a full day however worth everything we saw and Krisda was great, I would highly recommend this tour and especially Krisda. Thank you again for such an amazing day my brother.

Great way to see Bali

Great day we went to Lempuyang Temple, Tuna’s luwak coffee, Taman Tirta Gangga where we got amazing photos. Lunch was delicious at Mahagiri restaurant, we had the best view over the rice fields and mountains. Then we headed to an outdoor swing followed by an art gallery and woodworking store. We were able to purchase some great pieces made by local Bali artists. We finalised the day by having a refreshing swim in a waterfall. The day started at 4am but was well worth it to see all that we did. Krisda was great he knew his way around and took lots of photos for us. Krisda also took care of all the entries so we were able to just enjoy ourselves.Thank you for a great day.
