Overview

Join this early morning trip to the east side of Bali. Lempuyang Temple is one of six most important temples in Bali, has been believed to be a very sacred temple by Balinese people. It is located on the slope of Mount Lempuyang 600 metres (2,000 ft) high above sea level. According to Balinese beliefs, they are the pivotal points of the island and are meant to provide spiritual balance to Bali. Walk through the temple along the stairs then you can feel the real spiritual vibrancy of the temple. From here you can see Mount Agung the highest volcano in Bali very close. Make an amazing picture on the gate of heaven with the background of Mt. Agung.

Next, you will stop at a beautiful water palace called Tirta Gangga where you will see a maze of pools and fountains surrounded by a beautiful statues and gardens. The centerpiece of the palace is an eleven tiered fountain which is very beautiful with so many Koi fish around the ponds.
On the way to the waterfall, you will have a break to enjoy a local lunch with an amazing rice field view. Generate more energy with the local food with the panorama pampering your eyes.

Visit the hidden Tukad Cepung waterfall. Walk closely to the waterfall pouring under the small cave with the sun rays shining straight through the top of the fall, creating natural beams across the canyon. The last stop is the magical Tegalalang rice terrace. Experience the popular jungle swing for your Instagram feeds and unforgettable moment.

Great guide

Everything was perfect. The guide was very kind and funny. We really enjoyed the tour. The only bad thing is the time that takes to get there. Really good service.

Nice but long trip

Tour was very nice with beautiful views and very interesting places. Its a bummer that there is a long time on road but in my opinion it was worth it. Big thanks to our driver komang who made the trip very safe and interesting.

Another fantastic experience

This was the second time hiring HBD for a tour and it did not disappoint. I requested an earlier pick-up time since I've heard the Lempuyang Temple gets really crowded, Paul, my driver and guide, was on time and more than happy to walk me through the schedule for the day. It was a long drive to the Temple and Paul let me sleep throughout the whole drive. Once we got there, Paul discussed the history of the temple and helped to take photos of me. We then went to Tirta Gangga, a stunning garden, and Paul again was more than happy to take photos. Next stop, Goa Lawah Temple, another beautiful temple that has a bat cave. Finally, Paul was more than happy to take me to a waterfall that is not well known to many visitors and it was gorgeous! If you end up booking this tour, please ask for Paul - he was a fantastic guide! This is one of the best companies I have used for tours - they are knowledgeable, flexible, and so friendly that I will definitely hire them again when I'm in Bali.
