Overview

Join this early morning trip to the east side of Bali. Lempuyang Temple is one of six most important temples in Bali, has been believed to be a very sacred temple by Balinese people. It is located on the slope of Mount Lempuyang 600 metres (2,000 ft) high above sea level. According to Balinese beliefs, they are the pivotal points of the island and are meant to provide spiritual balance to Bali. Walk through the temple along the stairs then you can feel the real spiritual vibrancy of the temple. From here you can see Mount Agung the highest volcano in Bali very close. Make an amazing picture on the gate of heaven with the background of Mt. Agung.

Next, you will stop at a beautiful water palace called Tirta Gangga where you will see a maze of pools and fountains surrounded by a beautiful statues and gardens. The centerpiece of the palace is an eleven tiered fountain which is very beautiful with so many Koi fish around the ponds.
On the way to the waterfall, you will have a break to enjoy a local lunch with an amazing rice field view. Generate more energy with the local food with the panorama pampering your eyes.

Visit the hidden Tukad Cepung waterfall. Walk closely to the waterfall pouring under the small cave with the sun rays shining straight through the top of the fall, creating natural beams across the canyon. The last stop is the magical Tegalalang rice terrace. Experience the popular jungle swing for your Instagram feeds and unforgettable moment.

Hendra is very good tour guide and driver

He was very patient with us and we asked him to wait in line at lempuyang temple Bec temple takes two hours to wait line so we taken that time to look around. He is very friendly and has a lot of wisdom about other areas also. And widsom about the places we visited.

Even if you are on a tight budget, this is worth it!

We had such a good day today - I would definitely recommend it. 3 of us took the tour so it was $50 each, which we were a little wary about because we are backpacking at the moment so can’t afford too much - but it was amazing and definitely worth the money. From start to finish our driver Iketut was friendly, helpful, and simply wanting to give us the best day we could have!Online it says start time is 7, but our driver suggested to pick us up at 5am as the queue for the Gate of Heaven gets very long very quickly. We agreed to this (after a long time deliberating), and now see that this was definitely a good idea and we must have saved almost 2 hours of queuing (minimum)! After the temple, we went to Tirta Gangga, which was beautiful. He gave us some time to wander around by ourselves here. After this we hopped in the car and went to lunch. Lunch was amazing - a buffet, good options (ok for veggie, wouldn’t say ok for vegan), and the most beautiful view. We couldn’t have hoped for a better place to eat lunch, it was amazing - felt very luxurious and peaceful. After lunch, Iketut took us to the waterfall. He climbed down the many steps with us, and when we were down there even offered to take our shoes for us which he carried in a little bag. Throughout the day he always offered to take photos for us which was very kind. After the waterfall, Iketut gave us more cold water and even a cold towel! This was amazing and such a nice touch after the steep walk back up.We then headed to our last location, a coffee plantation. The plantation tour itself was quite rushed and not too informative, and we also felt a little bit pressured into buying something from their shop - but this was no reflection at all on this company or our driver! We did not even know this was included in the price, so despite the few negatives we thought it was definitely worth going - was nice to taste different teas and coffees and it was also in a beautiful location.Overall the day was great. We couldn’t have hoped for a better driver and guide in Iketut! Thank you! He must have driven so much today and not once did his good mood falter - I am very impressed! A great day - we would recommend to anyone and would say it is definitely worth the price if you want to see these three things on the east of the island!

We took a lot of beautiful pictures. Our driver was very kindly. We visited Tirta Gangga also. It's beautiful place ! At the end, we visited Tukad cepung waterfall. It looks like a waterfalls in a cave. It's unsual ! Thanks to our safety driver for this day. He has been flexible ( for example : we have modified the lunch location ), helping us when needed. We recommend it. ?
