Overview

Join this early morning trip to the east side of Bali. Lempuyang Temple is one of six most important temples in Bali, has been believed to be a very sacred temple by Balinese people. It is located on the slope of Mount Lempuyang 600 metres (2,000 ft) high above sea level. According to Balinese beliefs, they are the pivotal points of the island and are meant to provide spiritual balance to Bali. Walk through the temple along the stairs then you can feel the real spiritual vibrancy of the temple. From here you can see Mount Agung the highest volcano in Bali very close. Make an amazing picture on the gate of heaven with the background of Mt. Agung.

Next, you will stop at a beautiful water palace called Tirta Gangga where you will see a maze of pools and fountains surrounded by a beautiful statues and gardens. The centerpiece of the palace is an eleven tiered fountain which is very beautiful with so many Koi fish around the ponds.
On the way to the waterfall, you will have a break to enjoy a local lunch with an amazing rice field view. Generate more energy with the local food with the panorama pampering your eyes.

Visit the hidden Tukad Cepung waterfall. Walk closely to the waterfall pouring under the small cave with the sun rays shining straight through the top of the fall, creating natural beams across the canyon. The last stop is the magical Tegalalang rice terrace. Experience the popular jungle swing for your Instagram feeds and unforgettable moment.

Tour good for IG pics

So I have mixed feelings about this tour. the views are amazing but I was hoping to get a tour / learn more at the lempuyang temple. But really this was all about getting a good Instagram shot. We waited 2 hours for a pic. I think viator should inform us before hand that this tour of what to expect. Also viator told us last minute that the start time was changed from 7am to 5am....which I also think they should have let us know earlier. It was a 2 hour drive to get there and the drive there was pretty rough....my friend started to feel sick. Our guide/driver was Dika. He was really nice, offered to get us breakfast in the morning. Only thing I Would recommend is to ease up on the rough driving especially so early in the morning (but plays great music in the car especially in the log ride). This tour still has incredible views from the water palace and getting to see the waterfalls (which was a bit of a mission to get to....lots of steep downhill/uphill climbs but totally worth it....also you’re waking in the water and is a bit rocky so be careful, my flip flops kept coming off in the water). We were pretty tired after this tour.

Amazing Tour

It was an amazing tour with our guide Lewer. He told us many things about Bali and take many cool pictures from us. I only can recommend the tour, because there are beautiful places. Especially the Tukad Cepung Waterfall.

Amazing tour to the East of Bali with an excellent tour guide

Our trip to Lempuyang temple began at 5am where Paul our guide collected us promptly from our hotel. It was a 2.5 hour drive but the time went by quickly as Paul kept us entertained throughout the journey with his humour and life stories. His English is good and he took an interest in our stories too. The temple itself is beautiful but the queue to take your photos is very long. However, we were kept entertained by watching others strike their poses whilst we waited under a shaded seating area. We visited the water temple which was amazing and we were able to feed the fishes. Paul took us to other sites with beautiful photo opportunities and was always at hand to hold our belongings and take exceptional photos on our behalf. Lunch was buffet style and was good but the amazing part was having our lunch overlooking the rice terraces and jungle. Thank you to the tour company and Paul for being a patient and the most loveliest guide, we hope to visit Bali soon.
