Awesome people! We were so well looked after!

We booked a full day of private tour to Tegalalang rice fields, Tirta Empul, Besakih Temple and Tekad Cepung waterfall - followed by a Mt Batur sunrise trekking and hot spring on the second day. They gave me a positive impression on my first contact via Whatsapp enquiring on possible tour bookings. Very professional without being pushy at all.We were assigned Dudy as our guide/driver for the 2 days and he made our trip very memorable with his warm welcome and friendly hospitality. He always checked on us to ensure we were comfortable and he also gave us insights for our Bali trip and also tips on how to avoid tourist scams around popular tourist spots. For the Mt Batur trekking, Dudy picked us up at our hotel at 2am sharp and dropped us at the foothill of the mountain , introducing us properly to their ‘local trekking guide’ - Rapi who would then guide us all the way up and down the mountain. Dudy ensured that we felt safe with the trekking guide during the handover and provided us all the information on pick-up point etc after the descent. The sunrise trekking can a bit challenging especially if it is a wet and foggy. Make sure that you wear comfortable grippy shoes as some areas can be treacherous with loose gravels or wet soils. Ours was one of those mornings - chilly, wet and very foggy.. Rapi, our young trekking guide was excellent in whatever he was doing. He was patient and always checked if we were OK behind him while he led the way at the front. He also ensured that we took time to rest at some resting points along the slopes. I was travelling with a young teenager who wasn’t feeling the best and Rapi looked after him really well throughout the entire ascent and descent. The simple breakfast provided by Rapi consisted of hot boiled egg, fruit and bread tasted so good after we’ve reached the peak waiting for the first glimpse of sunrise. The trip to Lake Batur hot springs after the sunrise trekking was such a treat relaxing all our worked up muscles trekking up and down the mountain! We were actually quite early descending the mountain and got to the hot springs quite early too. Dudy our main guide ensured that we were aware that we were ahead of schedule and encouraged us to take as much time as possible enjoying the hot springs.Despite the fact that our private tours ended on that day and the next day we were moving to Sanur, Dudy’s hospitality even extended to ensuring that we were OK with our transport the next day and offered assistance if we needed any. He didn’t have to that as he was already busy and booked by other guests but he still genuinely offered any assistance should we got stuck. It was really nice to know that their care did not just cease as soon as the tour finished and the money paid.We felt that we were fortunate to arrange the above tours with Hire Bali Driver group and having Dudy and Rapi as our guides. It proves that they know what they are doing when it comes to providing best holiday experiences for their guests.Thank you Dudy, Rapi and the entire Hire Bali Driver team! Well done and keep up the great work !!
