Favorite part of this experience was Gede. We were totally lost as first time tourist to Bali. Gede took the time to learn about us and what we enjoy doing. He then custom recommended what we should do daily and give us the different prices for each package. We did everything he suggested and did not go with anyone but him. Gede’s guidance, patience, fun personality and trust was a huge part of making us comfortable. He is so kind and professional that all our days with him and the tours were the most memorable and successful. Because of Gede we are already planning a return trip to Bali early next year with our entire family. Thank you Gede for making our birthdays in Bali so much more than a vacation. We will sure miss you but will recommend you to anyone we know who will visit Bali. BiBi appreciates her Instagram photos and places and the memories along the way is priceless. I am in Bali enjoying my last day here and cant help but think about what an amazing trip it has been. I am a solo traveler from San Francisco and started my research weeks in advance of planning my trip itinerary.My overall rating is a 5 star for so many reasons. The main ones are below:BOOKING and COMMUNICATIONS: I found Wayan and his company Hire Bali Driver on TripAdvisor thanks to his clever use of the right google keywords. I sent him an email and heard back in 24 hrs. From there, it took only about 2-3 emails to finalized an itinerary and confirm my plans. I was very clear on what I wanted to do which was to visit the temples of Bali, see some popular sights like the rice terraces and explore the local area. I also opted to have them do airport pick up and drop off which made it a LOT easier for me.LOCAL BUSINESS: This is 100% a local business run by a local who hires local people. This was important to me as I wanted my spend to benefit a local owned business. I am mindful of this anytime I travel.CUSTOMIZED ITINERARY: Although Wayan does a great job of curating tours for his clients, I wanted a private tour with a specific itinerary. I wanted to visit specific temples. I spent a lot of time making a list of what I wanted to see but I got their help to group them into each day based on distance, travel time and region.DEWA: DEWA was my driver for the 3 days and he deserves his own category. DEWA is a local guide / driver with a big heart and an even bigger personality. I was able to find him easily at the airport. I was starving when I got off the plane after flying for 24 hrs from SFO to DPS. He took me to a local warung upon my request and it was a great way to start my trip ! Throughout the 3 days, DEWA was extremely helpful, engaging, attentive and a joy to be around. He is also very proud and passionate about his culture so he was able to create an immersive experience for me with my temple visits. It was more than what I was looking for. We shared many laughs and stories about how our cultures are similar since I was born and raised in India.I travel solo once a year and this by far, is the best SOLO trip of my life! I cannot wait to come back to Bali with my family. I am telling all my friends about Hire Bali Driver as I believe they are the most reliable, local business that I have come across. They also go over and beyond to ensure you have a great visit to Bali. And most importantly they are proud of being Balinese and are so welcoming of people who are here to appreciate their country, their culture and their people.

So glad we booked our private tour with hirebalidriver, they were absolutely brilliant. Wayan was very quick to respond to our booking request for an airport pick up and a 3 day private tour around Bali.Our driver/guide was Agus and he was amazing from start to finish:1. Agus was very knowledgeable and provided great insight into the history of sights we were visting. He introduced us to the local culture and places to eat traditional Indonesian and Balinese food after learning we were great lovers of trying local foods. He even gave us some home made treats prepared by his mum!2. Agus is a very confident and safe driver. He was always on time to pick us up and the car was always clean (we travelled around in a Toyota Rush)3. He provided great advice and suggestions. For example, Agus recommended to visit the Kanto Lampo Waterfall instead of Tibumana as the waters would be muddy at this time of year, which saved us from any disappointment. He also helped arrange a same day private snorkling trip at the Blue Lagoon. He was always flexible, accommodating and helpful, making sure we experienced the very best of Bali.4. Agus made our trip and exploration of Bali so much more personal and enjoyable. He has a great personality, friendly and easy to talk to whether it's about family, life in Bali during the pandemic, hobbies or interests. We would definitely book more trips with Agus the next time we are in Bali. Overall a fantastic experience and highly recommended.
