Our tour began with our incredible driver Ma-de who arrived to our hotel early and was already waiting for us. We had ice cold water ready. Ma-de was an incredibly safe driver and guide who spoke perfect English and answered every one of our questions(we had many!) As we drove to our first location, the Tengenugan waterfall, Ma-de told us about balinese traditions, his experiences growing up in Bali, and told us about his incredible family. At Ma-de's recommendation, we went to the waterfall first. Excellent choice! We had the entire waterfall to ourselves. Ma-de is truly an instagram king and knew the best photos to take! We then were off to the monkey forest! Ma-de gave us a fabulous backstory on how he used to visit the sanctuary when he was a boy. Again we were able to get incredible photos! Next stop was the D Alas swing and restaurant for lunch. Our photos were some of the best we got and the lunch is not a small meal but rather a excellent sized delicious meal! The grilled duck was phenomenal! Our tour then took us to Pura Tirta Tawar, the holy water temple. Ma-de gave us an incredible history lesson on the palace and temple. For a tourist who wanted to participate but didn't know the procedure, Ma-de explained the process perfectly and made sure I got to experience this incredible blessing while being respectful of the traditions. Truly a life changing experience! We finished the day at the Tegalalang Rice Terrace. The views were stunning and yet again, we got some of the best photos possible. Ma-de even taught me how to take incredible panoramic photos of the terrace. Almost forgot, before the monkey forest I mentioned I wanted to try authentic Luwak coffee. Ma-de took us to a legitimate coffee plantation where we got to sample 12 Balinese coffees and teas! Highly recommend the avocado coffee!!! We bought 2 packages. This was an impromptu stop and Ma-de made time so we could experience this! HUGE thank you to Ma-de and Hire Bali Driver. This trip was worth every penny and you can rest assured you get an attentive and knowledgeable guide who will be very informed about true Balinese culture and customs. This was just day one of our experience! We're beyond excited to spend two more beautiful days with Ma-de. If your thinking about booking, don't waste any time! I recommend this tour for anyone wanting the absolute BEST of the BEST in Ubud tours! Ask for Ma-de! He was easily the highlight of our Bali trip!

We've had a great 2 days travelling around Bali with Kantun. We've seen monkeys, temples and lots of waterfalls. Throughout the trip Kantun has been wonderful, safely getting us to each activity and allowing us to spend as much time as we wanted in each place. He's also an expert photographer providing us with some great pictures of our trip! The jungle swing has been a definite highlight but it is not for the faint hearted! Udi was such a kind, courteous tour guide. He was so attentive to our needs I cannot thank him enough for the way he assisted with my husband when he was unwell. Udi was very knowledgeable and a terrific safe driver. He knew all the best locations and we have so many marvellous photos thanks to him. 3 days with Udi has been the highlight of our trip.
