Bali is an island of contrasts. Between the honky-tonk of Kuta to the remote beaches and mountains of the interior, there is so much to see and do. It's really impossibly complex to create on your own the package deal that this tour offers. Our tour guide, Lewer, took incredibly good care of us and offered us the experience of a lifetime. He was personable, compassionate, helpful and passionate about showing us the beauty of Bali and its culture through an exploration of geography, culture, and --- FOOD.The three days of the experience can be broken down into Day 1 - cross-section. On Day 1, we visited an amazing waterfall, the monkey forest (which was so incredibly well-run and not exploitative of the monkeys), and temples - and a massive swing out over a forested hillside (with an option for ziplining which we uncharacteristically did). We even got to take part in a ritual Hindu cleansing ritual along with the throngs of people there to do the same. It was wonderful to participate rather than just observe. I remember feeling like if I had only one day to explore Bali, the first day's excursions would have satisfied me. But - when we started day 2, I realized just how much more there was so see and do. Day 2 was waterfall day! We got to swim in and around some absolutely breathtaking waterfalls in their unspoiled natural environments. Being out in these mountainous areas almost gave us culture shock returning each night to our hotel in Kuta! I would say that while the food was great all three days, my favorite was day two. Following a great swim in a waterfall, we ate in a bamboo structure by terraced rice fields watching birds and listening to traditional music. Lewer essentially had to peel us away to move on to our next activities! Day three was just as magical as is brought us to some stunning mountain lakes, traditional agriculture (great photo ops from both) and temples.I cannot say enough about Lewer who kept us safe (traffic conditions can be intimidating!) and refreshed with cold water from his cooler. He helped us do some shopping too. I don't know whether the company allows guests to request tour guides but I would request Lewer again!

Our guide for the das was Dewa who was helpful from start to end. He took us all the sights and allowed us to spend as much time as we wanted at all locations. He was so friendly and we learned so much about Balinese culture and people on this day. His photography skills were also on point and we have amazing pictures to remember the most amazing day around Ubud and the waterfalls. We were so impressed we booked another tour to a different day.

Fantastic day out with our driver Sunarta, the waterfalls are well worth seeing, Sunarta was very accommodating and helpful.
