We have just finished our 3 Day Best Of Bali tour with our tour guide Ma-De. We would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Bali as the service, knowledge & experience was the best we have received from any tour company & guide in any country we have visited. Ma-De was always ready & waiting in our hotel lobby for us each morning with his clean , front and rear air-conditioned minivan. Throughout the trip we experienced all sorts of weather and Ma-De was always on hand with umbrellas for the rain and water bottles after climbing the stairs back from the waterfalls. Ma-De is an excellent guide who answered all of our questions on Balinese culture & his own family life. On day 1 we visited a waterfall, the ubud monkey forest, the Teggalalang rice terrace and the Bali Jungle Swing. We originally wanted to replace the monkey forest for another activity as we weren’t too keen as we had heard stories about aggressive monkeys but Ma-De assured us that it was safe and would be a shame to miss it. The monkey forest was a great stop on the trip and we are glad we listened to Ma-De who even got us a group selfie with a monkey. The jungle swing we visited after the rice terrace has a much better jungle view and was included in the price of our tour, as was the lunch in the restaurant, which was crispy duck and some other Balinese specialities. Excellent pictures to be had from the 2 goes on the swing you get each, one forwards and one backwards, and Ma-De was great photographer for us and uses some great camera tricks to get really good photos of the landscape too. Day 2 was visits to 4 x waterfalls and a natural pool to swim in (waterfall number 3). Ma-De timed all the arrival times to each waterfall perfectly as they were very quiet when we arrived but got busier as we were leaving. We were the only people in the natural pool which was great and quite lucky. The 4th waterfall was busier but that was because it had lots of places for photos, and Ma-De pointed us to a local photographer who charged a small fee to direct us for some great photographs stood under the waterfall whilst Ma-De looked after our belongings. Day 3 we visited a temple in the morning, drove up the mountain to Lake Beratan, visited a photo point called Hidden Hills that had the nests, swings and other photo locations you see on Instagram with a view of the lakes behind it. We then had lunch at a buffet restaurant and Ma-De ate with us at the table which was a great way to find out more about his own life. All 3 lunch stops were excellent and included in the price of our tour, we only had to pay for additional drinks on top of the included ones. On the last day we got dropped off in Ubud rather than our hotel to save an extra taxi cost which Ma-De was more than happy to assist with. An excellent way to see Bali and learn about its different cultures and traditions, we are glad we chose this tour, tour company and very glad we got given Ma-De to deliver the tour for us. KANURUHAN is such a happy and wonderful guide. Knowledge and fun. Makes getting to know Bali so easy and fun. Have seen so much of the area, and he even points out things along the drives. Top marks. Good lad. Proper geezer.

Wife and I had the best experience with Aron , the waterfalls were beautiful definitely the highlight of our holiday ! Aron is very friendly and has good English, safe driver also recommended you do this tour…stairs are a work out so great way to walk off some Bali calories ! Lunch provided was more than enough food and beautiful, Take some sandals with you some shallow wading required.
