Overview

Visit three most beautiful waterfalls near to Ubud area. You will be taken to the first waterfall called Tibumana Waterfall. In this waterfall is good for swimming as it has very blue water and fresh come from the mountain. It is located very deep inside the lush green jungle along the beautiful slopes. Walk along the path passing some stairs down and pass a wooden bridge to see a beautiful waterfall.

Next, you will drive around 45 minutes to get Tukad Cepung Waterfall. This waterfall is the most hidden waterfall in Bali. You cannot see it from any distance, except you go 10 meters from the waterfall because it is located inside the cave. To get there you need to walk along the jungle and some stairs to get the river. You will walk along the river with the high rock in between and you will see the most beautiful waterfall at the end.

The last waterfall is popular Tegenungan waterfall. You will expect more people here as it is located close to ubud center but it is still a good place to chill out and swim. But before that you will enjoy traditional local lunch with traditional ingredients. It is very tasty and unique.

Great experience with a super guide

We are very satisfying of our experience with our guide Benik to visit beautiful waterfalls. We took then an excellent traditional lunch advised by Benik to close this little adventure.

Beautiful and exceptional waterfall tour day with Ma-de.

Our driver/guide for the day was Ma-de. Our day was so memorable and amazing. Ma-de was very informative and we learnt so much from him during our journey about the culture of Bali and the lifestyle of the locals, in each village we drove through. We were picked up early to miss the crowds and taken to the most popular waterfalls first. They were all stunning, Ma-de is an exceptional photographer and captured lots of beautiful shots of us close to the waterfalls. He knew just where to position us to get the best angles and shots using the natural light. We were also taken to a traditional family run Warung for lunch and ate with the locals. We tried suckling pig prepared by the family, it was delicious, full of flavour and local spices. As Ma-de knows the owners so well, he was able to show us the way the suckling pig was prepared and cooked over the fire, and all the spices being ground in the kitchen area at the back of the family compound. He also explained how each family have their own temple and was able to show us this during our lunch visit. We had the most amazing time and learnt so much, Ma-de was so friendly and kind and we enjoyed our day with him immensely.
