Overview

Visit three most beautiful waterfalls near to Ubud area. You will be taken to the first waterfall called Tibumana Waterfall. In this waterfall is good for swimming as it has very blue water and fresh come from the mountain. It is located very deep inside the lush green jungle along the beautiful slopes. Walk along the path passing some stairs down and pass a wooden bridge to see a beautiful waterfall.

Next, you will drive around 45 minutes to get Tukad Cepung Waterfall. This waterfall is the most hidden waterfall in Bali. You cannot see it from any distance, except you go 10 meters from the waterfall because it is located inside the cave. To get there you need to walk along the jungle and some stairs to get the river. You will walk along the river with the high rock in between and you will see the most beautiful waterfall at the end.

The last waterfall is popular Tegenungan waterfall. You will expect more people here as it is located close to ubud center but it is still a good place to chill out and swim. But before that you will enjoy traditional local lunch with traditional ingredients. It is very tasty and unique.

Waterfall tour

Had a great day out doing the waterfall tour. Our driver Bereta was a great guide, very spacious car with fantastic air condoning. Bereta had a wealth of knowledge, we learnt so much about the area and the balinese culture. The early morning start was perfect as we beat the traffic and got to the first waterfall for a swim with no one else there. Lunch was at a lovely warung over looking rice fields, very peaceful setting in the cooler air temperature . Bereta was very accommodating to our requests of stopping off for Luwak coffee and the tea tastings place and finding my son a shop to buy tradional balinese bakery items and sweets that he had been wanting to try.

Great trip with Lewer

Our tour today with Lewer was brilliant. We first went to the Tegenungan waterfall and because it was early it was still quiet, and it was fantastic. We then went to Tibumama which is a beautiful tranquil waterfall which was also very quiet so we could take in our beautiful surroundings and take pictures. We then visited Tukad Cepung which is in a canyon, and because of the light shining through was spectacular. Final stop was Teggalalang rice terrace which was stunning. Our guide and driver Lewer was brilliant, his knowledge of Balinese culture was very high and he answered every question we asked, teaching us a lot about their wonderful culture. I would highly recommend this trip.
