Overview

Visit three most beautiful waterfalls near to Ubud area. You will be taken to the first waterfall called Tibumana Waterfall. In this waterfall is good for swimming as it has very blue water and fresh come from the mountain. It is located very deep inside the lush green jungle along the beautiful slopes. Walk along the path passing some stairs down and pass a wooden bridge to see a beautiful waterfall.

Next, you will drive around 45 minutes to get Tukad Cepung Waterfall. This waterfall is the most hidden waterfall in Bali. You cannot see it from any distance, except you go 10 meters from the waterfall because it is located inside the cave. To get there you need to walk along the jungle and some stairs to get the river. You will walk along the river with the high rock in between and you will see the most beautiful waterfall at the end.

The last waterfall is popular Tegenungan waterfall. You will expect more people here as it is located close to ubud center but it is still a good place to chill out and swim. But before that you will enjoy traditional local lunch with traditional ingredients. It is very tasty and unique.

A fantastic tour to visit magical sites

We visited the waterfalls, and added Tirta Gangga and Gate of Heaven (Lempuyang Temple) to our tour for an additional cost. It was a fantastic experience visiting these magical sites. Our favourite spots to visit were Tirta Gangga, Tukad Cepung waterfall, and Kanto Lampo waterfall. We had a fun experience doing a "photo shoot" with the locals at Kanto Lampo, which only required a small donation. Our tour guide Agus was flexible and allowed us to visit Kanto Lampo waterfall instead of Tegenungan waterfall as we went there during another tour. Agus was also friendly, informative, and went to the extent to ensure that we had the best experience possible. FYI: - To take an individual photo at the Gate of Heaven, the wait can take a couple of hours and it would be best to leave early in the morning (4:00-5:00AM). But if you don't want to wait in line, you can still enjoy the scenery and take photos around the temple - Some of the trails to get to the waterfalls can be tiring and have some tall steps. A moderate level of fitness is required. The trail to get to Tukad Cepung waterfall also involves walking in the river/water for a bit so be careful if you're wearing sneakers - Bring swimwear or spare clothes if you get the oppotunity to swim in the waterfalls
