Day visit to the very nice waterfalls. Our komang Winata guide met our expectations. We liked these explanations, he listens. We were pleasantly surprised by the Tegunungan waterfall.

Great experience if you’re looking for a helpful tour guide and photographer for the waterfalls! You must get Ma-de as the driver with HBD (Hire Bali Drivers) as he is so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout your tour. He will tell you as much as you want to know about not only your locations but along the way throughout your journey as well. We left our hotel and got picked up at 7:30 AM - highly recommend leaving early as you can beat all the foot traffic and long lines waiting for pictures. We got to the waterfalls at a great time before big crowds of people leaving this early from Ubud downtown area. We basically had the places for ourselves! We got to spend as much time enjoying and taking pictures as we wanted at the waterfalls. I recommend getting lunch at Tibumana either before or after the waterfall. Great option of food/drink in a cute cafe with good ambiance. We could also overlook people working in the rice fields collecting rice by hand! Definitely get the Bali rice terrace swing as well! Great group of people working there and BEAUTIFUL pictures/videos with the jungle Bali swing! We also were able to stop for Luwak coffee at a coffee plantation on our way between waterfalls. They gave a great tour of how they make their coffee and give you a sample test of their many coffees/teas as well. This company and their drivers seriously know what they’re doing. They are professional, kind, and so willing to share their culture with you. Get some great photos/videos and save these memories from your time in Ubud!

Ma-de took my girlfriend and me on a wonderful tour. He was on time, friendly, and accommodating throughout. We toured several waterfalls, a rice terrace, and a swing, all of which he took us to at the perfect time to beat the crowds and get good lighting for photos. He knew exactly where to position us, and was happy to take lots of pictures. Ma-de was funny and charming, and even took us for an impromptu coffee stop along the way to try some famous civet cat coffee because we were tired in the car. He explained everything we saw and did, and was very courteous. This was an excellent trip, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone I know who wants to spend a lovely morning and afternoon seeing the sights!
