Overview

Visit three most beautiful waterfalls near to Ubud area. You will be taken to the first waterfall called Tibumana Waterfall. In this waterfall is good for swimming as it has very blue water and fresh come from the mountain. It is located very deep inside the lush green jungle along the beautiful slopes. Walk along the path passing some stairs down and pass a wooden bridge to see a beautiful waterfall.

Next, you will drive around 45 minutes to get Tukad Cepung Waterfall. This waterfall is the most hidden waterfall in Bali. You cannot see it from any distance, except you go 10 meters from the waterfall because it is located inside the cave. To get there you need to walk along the jungle and some stairs to get the river. You will walk along the river with the high rock in between and you will see the most beautiful waterfall at the end.

The last waterfall is popular Tegenungan waterfall. You will expect more people here as it is located close to ubud center but it is still a good place to chill out and swim. But before that you will enjoy traditional local lunch with traditional ingredients. It is very tasty and unique.

Highly recommended

Had a wonderful waterfalls tour with Ma-de. The waterfalls were breathtaking with light shinning through. Our guide Ma-de was very professional, shared many information on the rich local culture, must try, must eat, and not to mention helping us take beautiful pictures, videos, slo-mo and pano throughout the tour and especially at the attraction points. 10/10. Highly recommended.

Highly Recommend

Totally worthwhile, from being contacted the day before to ensure everything was right to being picked up from our Hotel by our awesome driver, Lewer who was so friendly and informative. Each waterfall was magnificent in itself and there was no rushing with Lewer turning out to be a pretty good photographer as well. Had lunch at an amazing location at Tibumana Falls set amongst the rice fields. Thoroughly recommend this experience, moderate level of climbing at each waterfall but as mentioned no rush and Lewer couldn’t have been more helpful offering to carry bags etc.

Waterfalls around Ubud

The photoshoot at the first waterfall we stopped at, Tibumana, was absolutely amazing. Our guide Ma-de introduced us to a local who agreed to take photos for my family (wife and two children, boy 13 and girl 15) in front of the waterfall. What made the experience so amazing was not just that he used our own phone to take the photos but a combination of the light shining through the trees the water spray in the air and the direction that he gave of where to stand and how to pose. Seriously this guy should be shooting fashion models for a magazine he is that good. The quality of the photos was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Could not recommend highly enough. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I am that impressed with the experience and the photos that we will no doubt cherish for a lifetime ?
