We had the most incredible day exploring Ubud with our amazing driver and guide, Eka. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and Eka made sure we felt comfortable, informed, and truly immersed in Balinese culture. Our first stop was a beautiful temple, and we were lucky enough to visit just one day after a major local ceremony. The atmosphere was absolutely magical – full of vibrant offerings, incense, and spiritual energy. Eka explained everything so clearly and passionately, giving us deep insight into the cultural and religious significance of what we were seeing. Next, we visited the iconic rice terraces – a stunning landscape of emerald green fields. Eka shared interesting facts about the traditional irrigation system and how rice farming shapes Balinese life. The views were breathtaking, and we loved every minute of it. Afterwards, we stopped at a local coffee plantation, where we learned about the different types of coffee and spices grown in Bali. We even had the chance to sample some – including the famous Luwak coffee! Finally, we visited a hidden waterfall, surrounded by lush jungle and peaceful nature. It was the perfect way to end the tour – refreshing, calming, and beautiful. Eka also brought us to a lovely local restaurant for lunch, where we enjoyed delicious food with a fantastic view.
