A Lovely Day with Jun- Great Tour, Just Keep Expectations in Mind

I had a great experience on this tour with my driver, Jun, who picked me up just before 7am. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took some lovely photos throughout the day. We started at the waterfalls, which were beautiful. I didn’t swim, but it’s worth noting in case that’s something you’d like to do. Just outside was the art market, but because we arrived so early it was completely closed, with no one around. This didn’t matter to me as I wasn’t planning to shop, but it could be disappointing if you were looking forward to browsing. Next we visited a temple. Jun took wonderful pictures for me, but I didn’t get the chance to wear the green outfit or go into the water for a blessing, unlike some other visitors. Again, I was fine with this, but it’s something to check if that’s important to you. Afterwards, we went to a coffee plantation where another guide showed me around and I was able to taste many different coffees and teas – a really enjoyable stop. Then we headed to the rice terraces. Jun asked if I wanted to try any activities there, but I decided not to. He told me we’d be going somewhere else for the swing, and I’m so glad we did. The restaurant we visited had a jungle swing with stunning views. It was quiet and private – just me – and I even had time to change into a dress for photos. The staff took amazing pictures and videos while I went on the swing twice, facing different directions. Lunch there was also excellent: a starter, a big main dish, dessert, and juice, all with a beautiful view. Our last stop was the Monkey Forest, which was lovely for a relaxed walk. Jun also took some great pictures here. Overall, it was a really enjoyable day – unhurried and full of variety. Just be aware that depending on timing, some activities or experiences may not be available, so it’s worth communicating with your driver about what’s most important to you. For me, it worked out perfectly, and I’d happily recommend Jun.
