Aron, a friend

I absolutely loved Aron he was a pleasure to deal with. I felt very comfortable the entire ride and he was very accommodating to our individual needs. I left Aron feeling like I had made a new friend. Aron was very knowledgeable, personable, and oftentimes felt like a third member to our tour group.

Such a wonderful experience.

This trip around Ubud was truly eye-opening and so much fun! We kicked off the day at a local coffee farm, where we sampled many different varieties, including the famous—or infamous—Luwak coffee. Putting the idea of its production aside, it was a bold and richly flavored first-time experience! Next, we visited Tegenungan Waterfall, which was absolutely jaw-dropping. You need to descend about 180 steps to reach the bottom, but if my 73-year-old mother can do it, you certainly can too! The waterfall was stunningly beautiful and very picturesque. We also grabbed a drink and took a dip in the pool at Omma Bar, which is right next to the falls and offers a fantastic viewing spot. From there, we stopped at a local woodworking shop, where we admired beautiful and creative examples of different wood art. Our next stop was the Monkey Forest, where we were surrounded by dozens of non-aggressive monkeys—a truly lively experience! We then enjoyed a delightful lunch at d’Alas Warung. Perched on a hill with a view overlooking the jungle, the restaurant offered a lovely ambiance and had large swings for photos available at a reasonable price. Finally, we ended the day at Tirta Empul Temple, a must-see for a sense of spiritual healing and empowerment. It was a wonderful, seamless trip thanks to our driver, Lewer. He picked us up at our accommodation right on time and drove us safely to every sight. He was also incredibly informative, sharing details and answering all our questions throughout the day. I enjoyed my trip around Ubud and would highly recommend this itinerary to anyone visiting the area! It will definitely be the cherry on top of your trip to Bali!
