Overview

A real day trip to explore Ubud volcano village. Through this trip enable you to see many tourist destinations such as Ubud monkey forest, traditional market and king palace, tegalalang rice terrace, coffee plantation, holy spring temple, and visiting Batur volcano where you can have lunch overlooking the volcano and lake view. The journey will be started early in the morning from your hotel in Bali to visit Ubud monkey forest, next we have small walk to the traditional market and we can see Ubud king palace just in the front of traditional market. Then, we head to Ubud rice terrace to see the green of rice paddy surrounded by the jungle. After that, we drive to the volcano to see a magnificent view of mount Batur with lake. You can have a buffet lunch at the traditional restaurant just in front of the volcano. After that, we stop at the coffee plantation on the way to water spring temple. At the water spring temple you can do a holy blessing together with local community or you just have a look local people ritual.

Great Experience

Our driver Kamang was amazing. He arrived on time, excellent driving skills, very attentive to details. In addition we forgot Sun hat in his car. He came to our villa during his own time to drop us the hat. We also liked very much our guide Asmara. He was extremely patient with us . We were not fit for this tour and it took us almost three hours climbing instead of two. He was all the time helping our 10 years old daughter and holding her hand - we felt safe when he took care of her .

Driver Yande delivers wonderful touring experience from Ubud, magical memories

We were lucky enough to have two full days of touring with driver Yande, out of Ubud and they were the best days of our 3 week trip to Bali. He helped customise a great itinerary that took us away from the crowds, up to the lakes area, volcanic parks etc and the absolute highlight was the mother temple, the biggest in Bali, at Besakih. A good 2 hr run from Ubud but so worth it. Absolutely stunning, a vast hillside complex reaching up into the sky, and few tourists. Yande shared so many superb insights with us that placed context around life in Bali, hugely helpful in understanding more about this special place. Highly recommend asking for Yande. He even ended our second day’s touring with a visit to his home and family to say hello and see how real Balinese live. We will remember his kindness and care. He’s also an outstanding driver, very necessary in Bali traffic! Thankyou Yande for memories of our time here that will stay with us.

A five-star-trip with a great guide Wayan Merta!

Great trip with the guide Wayan Merta! We visited fantastic places in a comfortable car: Monkey Forest, Coffee Plantage, Rice Terrasse, Holy Water Temple and also a waterfall, which was actually not a point of a programme, but Wayan Merta was so kind and flexible that we just went there instead of the Ubud Market. We also had a lunch at a restaurant with a look at the volcano Batur and the lake. It was really a great experience. Wayan Merta also has given me lots of interesting information about Bali and the Hindu Culture and has taken lots of great pictures of me. I will book a Temple Round Trip for the next week because I liked the service and the programme.
