Overview

Start your early morning with the most unforgettable experience to climb the sacred Mount Batur. 2 hours trekking from down to the peak of the mountain. Witness the amazing sunrise from the 2nd highest place in Bali. Taste your simple breakfast with tea and boiled eggs while waiting the sunrise. Mount Batur is one of Bali’s most sacred mountains according to the Hindu people. It is still an active volcano located 1717 meters above sea level and is known for its natural beauty and magnificent sunrise.

You will arrive at the summit crater at around 6am where you will be able to experience a spectacular sunrise. You can also enjoy a simple breakfast of tea and eggs cooked by your guide. Enjoy the sunrise and explore 3 new craters before descending down to the bottom of the mountain where you will arrive around 9am.

On the way back you will visit the natural hot springs where you can relax your muscles in the warm and natural refreshing water.

On the way back to your hotel you can also stop at a traditional coffee plantation to see the manual process of coffee production and witness the production of a strange form of coffee from the animal pup called Luwak Coffee.

BENIK MADE OUR TRIP

BENIK IS AWESOME!!! He made this trip so enjoyable for us and was so genuinely nice to my girlfriend and I. It’s safe to say he made the trip! Also, the activities were a blast! The mountain hike is definitely challenging but the sunrise and views are worth every step. The hot springs are the best way to follow a tough hike. We just relaxed in the perfectly warm water, took in the beautiful views and some well earned breakfast! (We also had a breakfast at the top of the hill, which was provided with the trip.) And to top it all off we got a tour of a coffee plantation and got to try the best coffee in the world, Luwak!! I’m very satisfied and so well you. Ask for BENIK!

THE BEST EXCURSION!

First off, our driver Benik was THE BEST! So friendly, thoughtful, and respectful. The entire tour was hands down the best experience. From Benik opening the car door, to the extreme Mount Batur hike, to relaxing in the hot springs, leaving off with tastings of the world’s best luwak coffee. We had the most enjoyable time. Just make sure you mentally prepare yourself to make it up the intense Mount Batur terrain at 3 a.m. My boyfriend and I were very impressed by the sunrise and prepared breakfast on Mount Batur! SO WORTH IT! After we made it back down the volcano, Benik was there waiting for us to take us to the beautiful hot springs for some much deserved relaxation! With no rush at all from Benik, we soaked, lounged, ate some food, and refreshed for the next part of our day tour. LUWAK COFFEE! Check this off your bucket list if you can. A beautiful tour through the coffee plantation, with explanations of the different plants including cocoa and the luwak beans. We were offered a large tasting selection and were blown away by the flavour! Nothing beats the luwak coffee from Bali’s cherished luwak animal. The good sh*t! After finishing with coffee tastings, Benik returned us home safely, with a quick stop to pick up our laundry along the way. I highly recommend this tour, and request Benik for your driver if you can!

AMAZING

Such an amazing experience! The hike was challenging but so worth it when we got to the top. We had an amazing and really enjoyed the hot springs after. Our driver Rai also taught us so much about Bali on the way there. Highly recommend
