Overview

This half day tour will be visiting the best beach and southern temple in Bali. The first stop is Pandawa beach where you can see white sandy beach with a white beautiful wave from the cliff. They should cut the cliff to give access to this beautiful beach. There are some statues put under the cliff make this area very unique. It is nice also to do kayaking which you can rent from the local vendor around the beach or simply rent a sun chair and do a full body massage by the locals.

You will continue to visit Uluwatu cliff temple overlooking the Indian Ocean. The beautiful view of the cliff and the temple attract many people to visit this temple every day. You will have a chance to watch the sacred kecak fire dance during the sunset. It is one of a sacred dance in Balinese tradition which is played by more than 50 people. This is a must watch show during your holiday in Bali.

Finally, before we head to your hotel your will be invited to have a dinner at Jimbaran bay (if option selected). It is a popular place for its fresh sea food area. If you are not eating seafood please notice your guide so we can arrange other option.

Thank you Trisna for a great tour!

We had a wonderful day with our driver Trisna who was polite, friendly, prompt, courteous and informative.Trisna picked us up at 10am and was waiting for us in reception of our hotel. He explained the plan for the day and was very informative about our trip to come. We chose the 10 hour day with beach stops finishing at Uluwatu for the traditional Balinese fire dance then onto Jimbaran bay for a beach dinner.First stop was Panawa Beach which was truly beautiful (our favourite!) just be warned the sand is very rough so bring shoes you can wear in the water. Clear waters and beautiful scenery with friendly locals and a small shopping area for souvenirs. We also had photos by the status carved into the cliffs whilst Trisna explained to us their meaning and how the protect the hindu people. They are sunbeds and parasols you can hire if needed but the beach was beautiful as it was. They also have kayaks and paddle boards to hire for cheap price. We had two hours at this beach including time taking photos of the statues and views.Next we went to Dreamworld beach which again was beautiful but had very very big waves, we chose not to go into the water but lots of others did and again there were body boards to hire and sunbeds with parasols. From the main car park there is a shuttle bus down to the beach and a few steps until you reach the beach again with a few shops for souvenirs and bars/restaurants for food and drinks. The sand here was beautiful white and the sea beautifully turquoise. We had one and half hours at this beach which was plenty in the heat of midday.Following this we went to Padang Padang beach which was again beautiful, there are about 50 steep steps down to this beach through the side of the cliff (totally safe and feels like you are walking into Aladdin’s cave- very magical!) There are also monkeys on the walk down which are generally totally harmless but maybe worth hiding sunglasses, jewellery, food and drinks on the way down (there are guards to keep you safe from the monkeys too) Although the beach is small the surf at Padang Padang was the best and surf boards were available to hire as well as two lifeguards on duty. The water at this beach was a little dirty with lots of litter but I think this is because we visited in rainy season where the rubbish gets washed up by the storms. Again there were parasols to hire for shade (no sunbeds here) and friendly locals selling cold drinks and snacks on the beach. We stayed here for two and half hours. After each pick up from the beach Trisna provided us with cold bottled water and a cold face cloth to cool us down which was very much appreciated!!!Next we visited Uluwatu temple on the cliffs by the ocean truly beautiful! Trisna accompanied us and was our personal guide explaining about the temple, pointing out turtles in the water from the cliffs above and taking some wonderful photos of us. Then we watched the traditional dance which was magical, a true experience in an open air theatre on top of the cliffs overlooking the sunset and temples. After this Trisna took us to Jimbaran bay for our beach dinner which was so romantic, we had a set meal (included in tour price with a bottle of water) and the option to buy drinks also (Bintang Raddlers only 30,000 Rupiah). The food was amazing all fresh seafood with candlelight meal overlooking the beach.Overall it was the best trip we did in Bali for value for money and service we could not fault it! Thank you again Hire Bali Driver and Trisna for a wonderful tour to add to the memories of our honeymoon.

Risma is the Best!

This tour was absolutely breathtaking and completely worth it! Risma is an excellent tour guide; he is very knowledgeable of the area, extremely polite, and even gives you tips on certain customs to help you show respect to locals. Would definitely do this tour again and would definitely want Risma as our guide again!

Beautiful Beaches with amazing Gede

Great day spent on the beaches of Bali with Gede (our tour guide around). He was really on time throughout the day right from the hotel pick up to the drop and clicked some great pictures for us even at crowded places. He knows the area very well and was polite, courteous and helpful. Our day went as planned and weather supported us as well in spite of some showers in the morning. Overall a very good and nice experience especially for covering South Bali area.
