The locations we visited on the island were absolutely beautiful and well worth the visit. We have some beautiful photos taken by the guide. Unfortunately, our trip didn't quite go as well as hoped. Especially after having an amazing trip with HBD yesterday. Our transfer to the port was late, resulting in us missing the early ferry. The ferry we did get took 30 minutes longer than it should have meaning we were an hour late to the island. This meant our first two stops were somewhat rushed by the tour guide. On the third stop, the guide originally seemed reluctant to let us walk down to Kelingking Beach, but we made it clear what we wanted so we proceeded to do the walk/hike while he waited for us to finish. When we arrived for lunch, we sat and ordered our meals. We waited a while for the meals to come out. When they did, only one turned up. We waited for another 5/10 minutes before asking about the second meal. They now told us that they didn't have any of this left so we had to change our order. The final destination also seemed rushed. We were told we were getting the 4.30 ferry so needed to leave the beach at 3.30 even though the port was only 30 minutes away. When we arrived at the port, we had to wait around for a while due to it only actually taking us 15 minutes to get to the port. We were really looking forward to this trip as visiting the island was something we really wanted to do so it's a shame that it didn't go as well as hoped.

Frankly, I booked this tour spur of the moment during my last day in Bali with my daughter, because of the wonderful experience I had with Gede several days before on a previous tour we took with him. I was hesitant at first to go since our flight back to the United States was on the same day, but Gede assured me that I would have ample time to take a fast boat ride to Nusa Penida island and be back in time to catch our flight. Sure enough, Gede made arrangements for someone to take great care of us on the island as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed visiting all the beautiful spots on the island like Angel Billabong, Broken Beach and Kelingking Beach. In addition, Gede took the responsibility of taking great care of our luggage so we wouldn’t have to go back to the villa we were staying at in Kuta to get them, but instead he would deliver us straight to the airport afterwards. We arrived at Bali airport 4 hours prior to our flight which gave my daughter and I ample time to rest up before our long plane ride home. I’m so glad we met Gede, because if it hadn’t been for him, we would’ve missed out on such a great tour! If you are looking for a kind, dependable, knowledgeable, and punctual driver while in Bali, I truly recommend looking up Gede.

I’ve been to bali a total of 7 times and there’s only 2 vendors that I repeated engage for their services and one of them is HBD. On both trips I did a private tour to Nusa Penida island, specifically listing out the places I want to visit and their timings. My guide Dika was very accommodating and he gave me and my partner space so we were very comfortable with him around. We did some extreme stairs climbing and he was very enthusiastic as well! I highly recommend them as they are honest & legit!
