I had selected for a solo travel option with Hire Driver Bali Tour through Trip Advisor platform it turned out to be a good choice. Kanuruhan my supposed to be guide and driver had ended became friend , promptly pick me up from hotel and shared his vast knowledge about Balinese culture during our journey of entire 12 hours covering most beautiful heritage water temples such as Pura Ulun Danu on top of coolest place in Bali to Tanah Lot on coast of Indian Ocean with an amazing sunset view through Pura Batukaru on top of batukaru mountain a secluded peaceful quiet place in midst of thick forests and Much talked Jatiluwih Rice terrace a must visit place itself. As mentioned Kanuruhan had became a friend to cherish end of the day , he is pretty good in English, Cultural knowledge, Friendly, Caring. This is the tour if you are looking for a day of peace and calmness while exploring central Bali

We wanted to see Tanah Lot but didn’t have anything else scheduled for the day so a full day tour made sense. We booked this even though our hotel is verrrryyy far away from any of these temples. It wasn’t a problem! We were based in the Uluwatu area and got back to the hotel around 7pm , so it was 11 hours total. That’s not part of the review, just an FYI if you are near Uluwatu. All locations were very impressive and we got tons of great photos.Our driver was Wayan Merta. He is amazing and a big reason why this long trip was great. Best English of any Bali local we’ve met, very knowledgeable, happy, safe, polite, very friendly and everything was straightforward. He also has a great funny personality and kept us entertained during the long drives. We had real (light) conversations, not just small talk. YOU WANT THIS GUY if you want more than just a nameless silent driver carting you around. Request Wayan Merta when booking with this company! Highly recommended.
