Our guide Lewer was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, gave us lots of time at each place, answered our many questions and made sure we had an all around good experience. The views were breathtaking. The drive around the island allowed us to take in so much of the culture through the small villages on top of the listed stops. We were lucky enough to hit it on a day when celebrations were happening so we got to take in a little extra. Well worth it!

Thanks so much to Hendra for a brilliant tour of the Balinese temples today! He was kind, and very knowledgeable about all my questions on Balinese and Hindu culture. He provides a lovely personal touch to the tour and is always striving to do whatever makes the tourist most happy ?I would highly recommend him!

My driver was Eka, he picked me up promptly and let me go at my own pace. This meant that we spent less time in the rice field and monkey forest and I enjoyed more time in the temples. Eka's explanations were good and he took lots of photos and videos when I was doing the sacred water rituals at Tirta Empul. I ended up checking out the coffee stop but I wouldn't recommend it if you expect seeing coffee and tea plantations, they are much further away and the Ubud stop is more about down info about process, trying and buying products. You can also see a couple of caged animals, which I'm not comfortable with. But that's got nothing to do with Eka's good service. I definitely recommend particularly as a solo traveller as it's a safe and easy way to travel.
