My friend and I had an absolute blast on our tour of Ubud with Leo, who was the most amazing guide we could have asked for. This is a private tour, meaning Leo picked us up from our hotel in a private car and we could then alter the itinerary of Ubud highlights to our interests, and could spend as little or as long as we wanted at each place. We opted out of the elephant cave and went to the silver jewellery production centre and a different more traditional temple. We went to the monkey forest, Coffee plantation with free coffee tasting and option for Luwak coffee, silver factory, a large temple, Tegenungan waterfall, d’Alas Warung for lunch with a Bali swing over rice terraces (dress included in pricing already), rice terraces. We had time for the central Ubud market also but decided to do that at another time. Leo was friendly, funny, an excellent driver on the interesting Ubud roads and ready to answer any questions I had about Balinese culture, temples, cafe recommendations and ideas for what else we should see outside Ubud. Conveniently for us, Leo was skilled at taking truckloads of well angled photos and knew the best photo locations for each site, if this is what you are after! Overall, this tour is flexible and cost effective. The all inclusive option for lunch is well worth it as well- we had a beautiful traditional meal over the rice terraces and rainforest! Could not recommend Leo and Hire Bali Driver highly enough!! ????
